Bianchini Ferier was founded in 1880 by Charles Bianchini and from the beginning was known for quality silk. They created fabrics that are standard today, but for which they hold the original copyright charmeuse georgette, crepe Romaine amongst others. They contracted famous French Fauvist painter Raoul Dufy, who first designed textiles
