you could broach this 2004 Larcis Ducasse now
It is certainly less opulently gregarious than bottles tasted within the first decade of its life
Somewhat unusually the mouth feel of the medium-bodied and powerful flavors is almost as sleek as those of the Combottes while delivering excellent length on the overtly stony
it is fresh and elegant and from a cooler (more Atlantic) vintage with more rain than the average and a relatively late harvest between September 28th and October 12th
with an opaque bluish/purple color to the rim
Gould Campbell, Vintage other_regions you could broach this 2004Medium deep ruby. Liqueur like aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, cassis, smoked meat, minerals and maple syrup. Juicy, intensely flavored and medium sweet; not unctuous but offers very good intensity and snap. Flavors of black fruits and licorice. A round, nicely balanced wine whose slightly fiery but persistent finish features rather fine tannins and good grip. Stephen Tanzer
