Notocactus apricus Tricyrtis we felt it worthy of(aka: Notocactus concinnus var. apricus Parodia concinna) In our hardy cactus garden, one of the stars of spring has been Notocactus apricus a denizen of Uruguay and southern Brazil, where it's found on sunny, grassy slopes. Notocactus apricus forms 2" tall x 3. 5" wide, slowly offsetting rosettes, covered with non sharp, thick, brown hair. Starting for us in late April, the clumps are topped with a multitude of stunning 1"+ wide yellow flowers. Each
