Powerful and penetrating but extremely backward

Bouchard Pere et Fils, Beaune Clos Mousse Vintage:2020 mineral and wild underbrush(a 3. 37 ha monopole of Bouchard that required seven generations for the family to acquire all of it). This is also markedly floral in character with its aromas of pretty red cherry, currant, earth and a discreet though not imperceptible dollop of wood. The lilting, vibrant and beautifully detailed lighter weight flavors possess a sublime texture that contrasts somewhat with a mildly sweet finish of average depth and persistence.
